Job Description

Electrical Field Service Technician  Field Service Technicians investigate, test, investigate, perform fire up and gather information of low, medium and high voltage (to 500kV) electrical frameworks, and respectably complex transfer adjustment and force metering. 
Instrument transformer tests .
  • Force transformer testing - Doble, TTR, Insulation Resistance, and so forth. 
  • Test both electro-mechanical and strong state transfers 
  • Link testing - Tan Delta, Power Factor, VLF, DC Hipot 
  • Programmed move switch investigating 
  • Low, Medium and High voltage switchgear and electrical switch testing 
  • Pivot crisis accessible as needs be obligation and whenever called react to client crises in an ideal way.

Education and Experience

  • Must have the option to work securely and stick to all electrical wellbeing center principals/techniques. 
  • Secondary school confirmation or GED required 
  • Incline toward an Associate's degree from an authorize multi year specialized school in Electrical Power, or comparable experience and preparing from the military (Army Prime Power, Air Force Electrical Power Production, or NAVY Seabee) 
  • Must have in any event at least 3 years of applicable experience 
  • Must have general PC abilities including email, web, information section and Microsoft Excel; involvement in PowerDB an or more. 
  • NETA Certification an or more; NETA II liked. 
  • Lean toward OSHA 30 hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED preparing; preparing on each can be given by Shermco.
